Does Agentbot integrate with Shopify?+
It installs on any Shopify theme via the standard <script> tag in your theme.liquid head. We don't currently ship Shopify-specific automations like cart-abandonment flows — if those matter, Tidio or Klaviyo are stronger picks. For AI-powered product / shipping / return Q&A on a Shopify store, Agentbot is a clean drop-in.
Can the AI check stock or order status?+
Not natively today. The AI answers from your knowledge base and your public site content (e.g. fetches product pages live). For order-status lookups that require querying your order database, configure a webhook that the AI's hand-off triggers — a human or your backend can then pull the order and reply.
How does it handle returns and refunds?+
The AI explains your policy from the /returns page (or whichever document you upload) and offers to file a ticket for the team if the visitor wants to actually start a return. The team picks up the ticket with the full conversation context.
What about international shipping questions?+
If your shipping page lists zones and timelines, the AI answers from it directly. The AI handles questions in the visitor's language (Spanish, German, French, etc.) — it does not require you to translate your shipping page beforehand.
Does it work outside office hours?+
The AI is always-on. The Availability setting controls the displayed 'online / offline' badge for human hand-offs, but the AI itself responds 24/7 at sub-second latency.
Is it free during beta for an e-commerce store?+
Yes — no credit card, no agent cap, no conversation limit. When paid tiers land, the planned free tier still covers the volume a small store hits comfortably; high-volume stores will land on a paid tier with no per-conversation surprise bill.
